Behind the Scenes

The Allen County Genealogical Society started in 1978 in Allen County, Ohio. A group of people got together to start the genealogy society to connect families to the earliest settlers of Allen County, and to celebrate the 150th year of Allen County. We continue to bring programs to help people make ancestral connections within Allen County.
